Import Instructions:

HomeSchoolClerk Reporting Software

 

Prior to installing version 2.0, please follow these instructions if you have a version of the HomeSchoolClerk Reporting Software older than version 2.0:

 

  1. Launch the old version of HomeSchoolClerk
  2. Click on the Maintenance Screen
  3. Click on the Backup/Restore tab
  4. Backup your database. Pick a file location such as your desktop to save the database
  5. Backup your reports. Pick a file location such as your destop to save the reports
  6. Exit from the old version of HomeSchoolClerk
  7. Download and Install the new version of HomeSchoolClerk
  8. Launch the new version of HomeSchoolClerk
  9. Verify the new version has your latest student information
  10. If the new version does not have your latest student information then import the backed up database and reports by following these restore instructions:
    1. Launch the new version of HomeSchoolClerk
    2. Click on the Maintenance Screen
    3. Click on the Backup/Restore tab
    4. Restore your database from the location saved earlier
    5. Restore your reports from the location saved earlier
